In 1959, author Rene Goscinny and illustrator Albert Uderzo created the most successful French comic series ever: Around 50 BC. C. the witty Asterix and his heavyweight friend Obelix live in a small village in Gaul - not to forget the dog Idefix , of course. Thanks to a magic potion that gives them superhuman strength, they are able to resist the Roman invaders of Emperor Caesar again and again - and do so in a very humorous and sympathetic way.
Let's go to Gaul! For all fans of the adventures around the small Gallic village of the indomitable, the characters and stories are now coming into the children's room for unlimited fun. The "Roman Squad" play set is perfect for reenacting the Asterix adventures, or for inventing your own creative stories. The set includes four armed Roman figures with interchangeable faces, helmets, swords and shields. A base plate is included with each figure for a more stable stand.
Around the small village are the Roman camps of Babaorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Kleinbonum, and as soon as the Romans venture out of their camps, they must expect to be beaten by Obelix. In addition to hunting wild boar, the strong Gaul, who fell into the magic potion as a child, prefers to spank the Romans. To finally defeat the Gauls, the Romans attack with their famous tortoise formation. In this special attack formation, the soldiers make their way protected by shields at the front and top. And what do the brave and indomitable Gauls do? A sip of magic potion and off we go to counterattack.
