The science fiction film comedy "Back to the Future" from 1985 quickly developed into one of the cult films of the 80s after its release, resulting in two sequels in 1989 and 1990. All of the films were directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly . In the trilogy, McFly travels with the aid of the Flux Compensator , created by the ingeniously-mad Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) in a DeLorean , through different time zones and experienced hair-raising adventures.
The flux compensator is running at full speed, the display is set to the year 2015, and the DeLorean takes off, folds in the wheels and hey presto - the year 1985 was yesterday: The rapid journey through time of Marty McFly and girlfriend Jennifer Parker begins. Actually, the two just wanted to jet through the streets in Marty's new pick-up truck, but that doesn't work out for the time being. Of course, Marty's arch-rival Biff Tannen has his fingers in the pie again in this adventure.
